QA Outsourcing

The process of delegating performance of operations in software testing and quality assurance to companies that specialize in such procedures and consider performance of that kind of tasks to be their strategic orientation. The company that takes completing of the software testing functions is called a QA outsourcing company. As a rule, the two companies sign a contract and testing functions are transferred on a long-term basis. If only a part of functions is transferred – the outsourcing is called partial; if all the functions in a particular field are delegated to other company – it is the full outsourcing.
