Pylot

Pylot is a tool for testing performance and scalability of web applications.

It simulates HTTP requests and checks how the server responds. After the tests the instrument creates the test report that includes important metrics.

Pylot is widely used by test engineers because it has a rich functionality, automatically manages cookies, provides test reports with graphics, allows to watch and manage the tests from the application user interface or shell/console, shows real-time statistics, can create multi-threaded loads on the application.

The instrument is written in Python, it is open source.
